New Wreaths

Here are a couple of new wreaths I made yesterday. I'm really chuffed with both and I really want to keep them, but i mustn't keep everything! I had an extremely busy week last week for online sales on all of my shops and I'm now running around like a headless chicken getting stock ready for my fairs as well as the brick and mortar shops that stock my goods.

I am 'supposed' to be learning the highway code at the moment as I am almost ready for my driving test. Why did I not learn it and pass it in the summer when I was a little less busy?!

I have also been meaning to photograph and blog my bargain duffel coat that I picked up in a charity shop in Hebden Bridge last week but I haven't got around to it. It was a mega bargain of £6.50! and in perfect condition :) That's at least £60 saved.

Its Nearly Christmas!

Ahh a day off and treasures!

I had a day off from working on Thursday. I have been working my bum off lately and so me, my Mum and my Grandma all took a trip to one of our local antique centers. I went with the intention of getting my sisters 21st present, not looking for myself. But I did bring home all of these...

 A lovely 70s salt container at £4

 And a matching biscuit jar £8. All without a chip or mark! With the rubber seals all in working order. They did have a tea and a sugar pot too, but without the coffee it wouldn't of been worth it. I literally would of made it my quest in life to find that matching coffee pot and it most certainly would of driven me insane!

And a GINORMOUS rug at the bargain price of £55! We have been looking for a big rug for a while and this is perfect. Yippee happy days x

Bye Bye Blonde

So i finally plucked up the courage to stop bleaching my hair after 5 years! So here is a before and now picture. I keep forgetting and almost having a heart attack each time i go to the bathroom :/ Im sure my hair and scalp will be mucho grateful to have a rest from the bleach! And most importantly it didn't go green or orange woohoo!

It's nearly CHRISTMAS!

Well after the extremely stressful month or so I have had, and the pain in the bum last ten days of not having a computer! I am staring to feel a little better :) I have had the computer repaired and although I am £140 lighter, I can finally get listing my new 2010 Christmas designs! Woopie Woop! So I have now officially opened both my RealicoulChristmas Folksy and Etsy shops!

This one is by far my favorite and I'm feeling reluctant to send it off the the gallery. But i must, i really cannot keep all my work!






So these dolls will be sent away to Lincolnshire 20-21 visual arts centre and will be taking part in the handmade 2010 exhibition which is a selling exhibition so hopefully they will all have new homes for Christmas. I will also be sending my owls, rag dolls, brooches and lavender pillows. More photos to come later this week. I will be listing more Russian dolls, rag dolls and owls on my SewRealicoul shops in the next coming weeks.

Luella is backed in red and white polka dot cotton and has a tiny silver lip piercing and turquoise hair..cool or what?!

Ninja news flash!

My popular plushes will now be coming back into stock! Some original and some brand spanking new designs will be blessing your monitors very very soon! My plushes were my very first online venture and did well, i then moved on to concentrate on my jewellery side of the shop and now this i my full time job i can do both :) yey! Both the ninja and owl plushes will be making a comeback this summer.
